Jakarta, 10 April 2019 – PT Honda Prospect Motor begins to ship All New Honda Brio for export market, from Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, April 10, 2019. For the first export shipment, All New Honda Brio from Indonesia will be delivered to Philippines.
All New Honda Brio export model was manufactured at HPM’s Karawang Factory, West Java. The first line off and ceremonial handover for this model was also celebrated at the factory in March 2019, which was attended by Indonesian Minister of Industry, Airlangga Hartarto and Chief Officer for Regional Operations (Asia & Oceania) of Honda Motor Co., Ltd., and President & CEO of Asian Honda Motor Co., Ltd., Masayuki Igarashi. Beside to the Philippines, HPM also planned to export All New Honda Brio from Indonesia to Vietnam.
Before Honda Brio, HPM had exported Completely Built Up (CBU) model with Honda Freed to several countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei Darussalam since 2009 to 2014. Moreover, HPM also exported automobile components since 1992 to various countries including Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and other countries.

After gained great acceptance from domestic market, we are confident that All New Honda Brio produced in Indonesia will also be successful in other countries in this region.”
Honda Brio was first introduced in Indonesia in 2012, and followed by Honda Brio Satya to support LCGC program in 2013. The model was greatly accepted by customers in Indonesia, with more than 280 thousand units of sales and 32 prestigious awards until now.
