Bangkok - A.P. Honda Co., Ltd., the official distributor of Honda motorcycle in Thailand, is transforming a booth at Bangkok International Motor Show 2017 into the "Honda Hub of Lifester”, home to inspirations for all bikers who seek their own unique lifestyle. Modern cafe racer bike, Honda 150SS Racer, which required over six million baht in R&D, will be launched. Also to be introduced at the show is a presentation of newly-designed shop that will enhance the new riding culture in Thailand, the C.U.B. House Shop that will allow you to design your own bike usage. Furthermore, All New Honda Scoopy i , All New Honda CBR1000RR, Honda CB1100, and Honda X-ADV will also be launched. The Bangkok International Motor Show 2017 will be held at Challenger Hall, Impact, Muang Thong Thani from March 29 to April 9, 2017.

“The demand and lifestyle of the Thai users have changed through time. From being a commuting gear, motorcycle has become a multi-purpose vehicle for recreational and functional purposes. At the Motor Show, we have designed the booth under the concept, "Honda Hub of Lifester” or the hub of inspirations of the new lifestyle which will be designed to your own taste.
“Moreover, the C.U.B. House or our New Concept Store will also be displayed at the booth. The new concept of House of Creation will not be simply a motorcycle shop, but a place where customers can take part in the design to meet their own lifestyle with Honda.”
Highlights of the booth will include Honda 150SS Racer which has been innovated by Honda R&D Thailand Team, under Street Sport Racing concept that is inspired by the chic and contemporary style of Modern Cafe Racer — the speed, strength, and flexibility of the racing circuit.
Other highlights will also include All New Honda Scoopy i, A.T. bike which has been designed in minimalist style to meet Thai taste. The model comes with eSP, 110cc engine, 4-stroke and PGM-FI, air-cooled system, idling stop system, Combi Brake system. The model is also equipped with new function — first installed in motorcycle — such as Eco Mode light. It also stands out with its LED projector light and built-in tail light. The new model also comes with AC socket under the front console, and 15.4-liter underseat U-Box. Suggested retail price is 51,100 baht for Club 12 model; 48,600 baht for Prestige model; and 48,100 baht for Urban team model.
The Big Bike category will see all-purpose New Honda X-ADV which has been designed under the concept of "Go Everywhere with Excited feeling”. The two-cylinder model comes with 4-stroke, and 750cc engine, DCT clutch which has been designed to facilitate the on- and off-road rides both in and outside the city. Suggested retail price is 415,000 baht.
Next will be the classic bike — All New Honda CB1100, the 4-stroke, 1,140cc engine — the recently introduced model abroad. With a new sport look, the model has been given a new sleek fuel tank, LED head light and tail light. The riding performance has been enhanced, after the body weight has been reduced by 5kg, combined with 16% lighter clutch touch. Suggested retail prices are 549,000 baht for CB1100EX and 559,000 baht for CB1100RS.
Another highlight is the All New Honda CBR1000RR, the super sport bike which the engine has borrowed the technology of a racing bike in a street bike. With its 4-inline cylinders and 1,000cc engine, the new design comes with lighter weight body and the high-compression at 13.0, and also puts out 141kW at 13,000rpm. Suggested retail price is 643,000 baht for standard model, and 779,000 baht for SP version — equivalent to the racing bike, which will be available for the first time in Thailand.
Meanwhile the bike that will be used in the Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Race will be exhibited, in accordance with its 2017 Motorsport Policy. According to the policy, Honda is committed to develop the potential of racers and technician teams, in which the Thai team will be supported and sent to take part in the regional races. The company will also cooperate with Kushitani, an expert in racing outfit, to design the racing uniform for A.P. Honda Racing Thailand to be wearing at the endurance race.
